You may not know what to expect before you visit, so I've compiled a list of frequently asked questions that should help. From clinic opening times to parking availability, this should hopefully answer what you need to know. If you have any further questions, please get in touch.

What can I expect from a consultation?
A consultation is a complimentary, no-obligation opportunity to discuss your cosmetic concerns and potential treatment options. Together we will assess and discuss all available options which may be a simple small fix to a progressive treatment plan. This could include treatments, skincare, maintenance and prevention.
What should people look for in an aesthetician?
It is important to make sure your aesthetic provider is adequately trained, experienced, insured and a registered healthcare provider - ie nurse/doctor/dentist. The industry is largely unregulated which means pretty much anyone can provide treatments without any proper registration. Please understand that aesthetic treatments are medical with clinical risk.
Make sure your provider is a prescriber and would be able to deal with any potential side effects or complications. It is absolutely ok to check your aesthetic provider's credentials.
Where can I park to visit the clinic?
There is a brand new public car park currently being developed as part of the new Swansea arena development. It will be conveniently adjacent to the clinic and will be available very soon. Until then, there are several car parks within a short walking distance - next to the Pump House Pub and next to the Marriot Hotel. Please do not park in the immediate surrounding residential parking - the fines are hefty!

Are there any health concerns that would mean you wouldn’t be able to give a treatment?
There may be contraindications which means we cannot administer treatments e.g. pregnancy. Medical history and medications will be discussed and forms need to be completed and signed during the assessment to ensure safety and appropriate treatment.
What do you mean when you say positive pro ageing?
Our philosophy is never anti-ageing! Ageing and life experience are to be celebrated. We know ageing physiology and changes to appearance can sometimes have a negative impact on mood and wellbeing.
Our aim is to support the ageing process in a natural and effective manner in order to promote confidence and wellbeing. Natural, undetectable and age-appropriate enhancements are our forte.
What should people be doing to make sure they are taking good care of their skin?
The number one priority should be daily sunscreen. And not the one in your serum/makeup (these are far from adequate). Choose a dedicated specific sun protection product (preferably mineral-based ie zinc/titanium).
A good quality sun protection product not only protects from damaging sun exposure but importantly it will offer protection from everyday lights/screens/pollutants - all continuously damaging exposed skin. As a certified ZOSKINHEALTH expert, I can design a medical skincare routine that will treat your specific concerns. Consultations are available.

How long should be set aside for an appointment?
Consultations are usually around 30 minutes. Treatment times vary from 20 to 90 minutes. The appointment time will be identified at booking.
What days and times do you offer at the clinic?
Monday: 10 am to 2.30 pm
Tuesday: 10 am to 18:00 pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 10 pm to 8 pm
Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 4 pm
Is there a right time or age to start having treatments?
No. There will be young adults and older adults with cosmetic concerns for different reasons. Please note it is illegal to administer aesthetic treatments to those under 18.
